Rare and Important Antique American Flame Mahogany and Cane Empire Period Neoclassical Recamier or Chaise Lounge
This is an extremely rare and fine Antique American flame mahogany Empire period Chaise Longue with a cane seat/bed. Likely made in either Philadelphia or New York in the early 19th century, this piece, with its cane seat, was made for the Charleston market and was part of a Charleston home since the early 20th century (and likely could have been here since it was made.)
